Hoganess Salmon Ltd

Hoganess salmon operate in western mainland Shetland, particularly Vaila Sound and Gruting Voe. Two sites are operated in Vaila Sound and three in Gruting Voe, these voes are relatively sheltered with moderate tidal currents. Hoganess Salmon has a potential production capacity of 7,000 tonnes.

The area is predominantly rural and Hoganess Salmon provides much needed stable employment to the local communities.
